
CMA (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Panigrahi, Associate Professor of Finance at MPSTME, Shirpur, was honoured with the prestigious CMA Achiever Award by the Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India on May 10, 2025, at the ICMAI Pune Chapter. This award recognizes and celebrates the exemplary contributions and outstanding accomplishments of Cost and Management Accountants in the industry. Dr. Panigrahi’s recognition reflects his professional excellence and significant contributions to the field of Cost and Management Accounting. The award also forms part of a broader lifetime achievement acknowledgment bestowed upon distinguished CMAs.

Students as team UAS-NMIMS has participated in AERO INDIA DRONE OLYMPICS held at Bangalore in the year 2018 . They had designed a drone – Hexacopter. The team competed very well with large companies and stood 4th in the payload drop category

Team UAS NMIMS participated in DroneZone competition of the MindBend 2023 an Annual Techno-Managerial Festival at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat on 01st April 2023. The Team UAS NMIMS secured 2nd Place overall at the Competition.

MEHAR BABA SWARM COMPETITION was organized by the INDIAN AIR FORCE, that aimed at achieving collaborative swarm behavior of the drones. The IAF faces many challenges while carrying out HADR operations, hence it promotes innovative solutions such as unmanned aerial vehicles or drones as the first response to such search and rescue (SAR) mission.
